The weather has got just a bit of a nip in it; the leaves are beginning to change just a bit, so it must mean that it is time for the “Fall Honey Do List”.

- Smoke Detectors—Wipe any dust from the device and install fresh batteries
- Carbon Monoxide Detector installed
- Change furnace filter
- Check fireplace flue and have cleaned before burning
- Order wood or pellets
- Fire extinguishers: 1 in the kitchen 1 in the garage and each car
- Escape ladder installed on the second floor
- Really clean clothes dryer cleanout and exhaust hose
- Vacuum refrigerator coils for better efficiency
- Windows and doors checked for air gaps
- Recalibrate the temperature on your oven
- Time to rotate your non perishables
- Earthquake kits still viable—update the food and supplies add new essentials for your family, clothes, meds, toys
- Reset timers inside
- Double check your homeowners insurance that you are properly covered
- Extra coats for One Warm Coat, Animal Shelters could use your old rugs and blankets
